When Performing a Fluid-thermal coupled analysis (especially when solid parts are considered in the fluid volume), we usually define thermal contacts to link the solid and fluid parts together.

In some cases when complex contact surfaces are considered, contacts can cause imprecision in the calculation and lead to divergence of the solution.

To solve this problem, some New functions in midas NFX 2013 can help you to perform this kind of analysis without using the contacts.
