OVERVIEW AND SETUP
The main goal of this set of demonstrations is to show why it is important to use more advanced types of analysis to fully represent the working environment of a particular design. In this case an analysis of a bracket model will be extended to include dynamics analysis.
The order of the demonstrations is shown below:
Model setup and statics analysis

Normal modes analysis
http://youtu.be/DnodzUxmr-8
Frequency response analysis
http://youtu.be/zU6UIsJ1JPY
Direct Transient response analysis
http://youtu.be/LwjwvMBQrE0
Each demonstration always picks up from the previous one.
The natural frequencies provide important information about dynamic behavior of the structure and are a necessary predecessor to any evaluation of dynamic behavior.
The model picks up from a previous static analysis.
The static analysis and normal modes results were as follows: δCM = 2.95E-04 m σmax = 85.5E+06 Pa σlimit = 723E+06 Pa
Normal modes analysis: f1 = 28.62 Hz f2 = 37.69 Hz f3 = 41.45 Hz
