Main features used in this application The tank is modeled with triangular and quadrangular mesh. The loads that have been implemented are structural, non-structural, thermal, wind, snow, and earthquake. A dynamic modal analysis with response spectrum has been performed

Description on this project

The steel cryogenic tank contains oxygen and is about 12m tall including legs. It has an external diameter of 2.47m. The installation’s site is a low seismicity area in northern Italy near the hinterland of Milan.
